Re: WPAD Order Information
Principals,
You are the POINT-OF-CONTACT listed on the orders for the state-funded Wearable Panic Alert Devices (WPADs).
Please note the following:
- The number of WPADs I ordered for your school is greater than the number of staff members you have and THAT IS OK - I had to add extras in order to cover other employees who don't have a school "home" but still spend time in your schools (like traveling staff, district office staff, substitutes, community ed, staff from Transportation and Auxilliary Services, etc.).
- If the WPADs are delivered to your school, do NOT distribute them - we will first train and then hand them out. We don't yet know how much training will be needed or when it will be available/offered.
- I will collect the extra WPADs from your school so we can redistribute where needed.
- You may receive an order confirmation email or call from the state or Centegix; here are the numbers ordered for each site so you can verify the number ordered for your school if asked.
